What current players are saying about Chicago Social:
"New Year's Eve at Moe's Cantina was simply the best! It was my first time to visit Chicago, and I can't wait to go back! You guys did an awesome job planning the party. The bartenders did a fantastic job, the music was rockin, the food was great, and the red carpet was a hit!"

"The CSSC has made living in Chicago more fun! All the sports I participate in give me something to look forward to each week. From flag football to softball to beach volleyball to rock climbing... It's great they have so many different sports/activities to offer - this winter I'm even thinking about signing up for bowling!"

"I've played CSSC beach volleyball for 5 years now and I always enjoy myself. It's such a great way to get out on a week night, enjoy the summer weather and do something fun. Thanks for providing us the opportunity!"

"Just wanted to say that my experience with CSSC thus far has been great! Not only have I played in CSSC volleyball, soccer and softball leagues for over a year, but I have attended several of your social events (Cubs-Sox game, concerts, Southside parade, bar crawls, etc.) and have yet to be disappointed. Everything is always well-organized and filled with lots of other fun people who have common interests with me and my friends. Thanks for the good times!"

"I've participated in a few of your leagues. I had just finished the summer beach volleyball and I was looking for something to do to finish out the summer. A friend and I decided to try kayaking. We learned a new sport and got some great exercise. The instructor was great and at the end of the session, after the six mile kayak, the participants had bonded.
I have found a new sport to be passionate about. Thanks!"

"Thank you for not only listening, but taking action. I partake in a lot of these leagues, not all of which are run by the Chicago sport and social, but this is a reminder of who I should be playing with. I and my team members really appreciate you guys going out of your way to change the schedule for us. I fully understand that you have no control over the weather, and the resulting cancellations, but I wanted to thank you for your flexibility regarding the matter. Thanks again, and have a great day."

"I am the captain of a team that plays on a Saturday afternoon coed intermediate league at Winnemac Park with SportsMonster. We have now played with them for seven consecutive outdoor seasons and honestly, SportsMonster sucks. The refs suck, they change the game times without notifying the teams, they have shortened game times to accommodate more teams, the field sucks, overall we are very disappointed with SporstsMonster.
We continue playing with SportsMonster because we enjoy soccer and they offer the best time slot in a location that suits us. Sadly, this is a high demand league. So many teams sign up for Saturday afternoons at Winnemac that our game times have been shortened to 2 20 minute halves to accommodate more teams.
I have been looking around for other clubs to join but so far have been unable to find one that offers our level of play with a time slot that works for us in our area. I played with Sport and Social Club this winter on two indoor soccer teams at North Beach and Mercy Center. The refs there were better (the ref at North Beach was great), we never had problems with changing game times without notification, in general I was just much more impressed with Sport and Social Club as an organization."

"My team really enjoyed playing. Also the refs did a great job. Please keep me posted when fall leagues are available for registration. My team would really like play on the Montrose turf field in the fall."

"We really thank you for your help. It's great to have that level of competition on the sand....then walk only 5 feet to get a cold brew and heckle our friends that didn't win....by the way our team, Cicadas, won the championship. We've been the Cicadas for many years and of course this was the year of the Cicadas!!!"

"Just wanted to give you a little feedback and a quick thank you. I have been a long time member of CSSC playing in volleyball and football leagues every season for the last three years. I began subbing on a volleyball team before I even moved to Chicago three years ago next month, and became a permanent fixture on a team ever since. I recently got engaged to one of my teammates whom I would never have met had it not been for the league! We began dating during the fall league of 05 and got engaged this past December. CSSC has been the only regular part of my schedule with three new jobs in the last three years, and now I have someone to share the rest of my life with, thanks to the opportunity created by this league! So thanks, and cheers!"

"First off, let me say that I have been playing in football, volleyball, and softball leagues in the CSSC for about 5 years, and this was by far, the most organized and most enjoyable experience thus far. The refs were solid, you guys posted the scores online - things were done the way they should always be done."
