Oak Street & Lake Michigan (near the Drake Hotel)

This downtown beach is right in the midst of all of the hustle and bustle of city life. This intimate beach features eight courts, where volleyball started in Chicago. Sign up early because it does fill quickly. Parking is immensely difficult, so strap on your roller blades or ride your bike for a little warm up.
