The Chicago Sport and Social Club has partnered with 3rd Coast Cruising to bring you an opportunity to learn how to sail on beautiful Lake Michigan.  If you've ever wanted to go boating on Lake Michigan in Chicago or learn how to sail, our Sailing offerings are perfect for you.  3rd Coast Cruising offers professional sailing instruction with a fun, knowledgeable and experienced staff.  Their fleet of 30-foot sailboats are perfect for teaching you the basics of sailing. 

The Basic Sailing class is available for anyone interested in learning how to sail.  The class times are flexible and customizable to your schedule.  Offered between May 19 - August 31, you have that time period to complete your 3 instructional lessons.  The lessons are offered Monday - Friday at 6:30pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am or 1:30pm - you choose the days and times that work best for you!

3rd Coast Cruising at DuSable Harbor (Randolph/Lake Shore Dr.) and Monroe Harbor (Monroe/Lake Shore Dr.)

$250 for 3-lesson class
$3.50 Processing Fee

Fee Includes

Our 3-lesson Basic Sailing class includes a pre-class instructional manual, three 3-hour lessons (9 hours of instruction!) taken when you choose, professional sailing instruction, and incredible views of the city!

Formats

Basic Sailing - three 3-hour lessons taken when you choose:

Mon. - Fri. evenings at 6:30pm or

Sat. and Sun. at 10:00am or 1:30pm.
